Collaborative Care - Tasks - Automatic Chart/Assessment Time Tracking
The Automatic Chart/Assessment Time Tracking feature must be enabled in your instance. If you're interested in learning more about this feature and how to enable it for your institute, please contact support (support@mirah.com).
In order to help you efficiently record time that you spend in the Mirah app, Mirah will automatically start a timer when you visit certain pages in the system. These timers will only start if you have no other timer running - if you're in the middle of another workflow, it won't be interrupted.
When the timer starts, the following bar will appear at the bottom of your screen.
Triggers to Start Timer
- Viewing the patient record page will start a timer for a task named "Chart Review"
- Viewing a patient's report will start a timer for a task named "Assessment Results Review"
*Note - You will manually have to end the existing task before starting the next task. Even if you navigate to another patient's record, the existing timer for the original patient will continue to run until it has been manually stopped.
If you don't already have a task for the patient with the appropriate name, one will be created automatically. If you have an existing Chart or Assessment Results Review task for the patient, the time will be logged in that task.
This automatically logged time and automatically created tasks work the same as any other time or tasks in Mirah, so you can edit the task or move the time around as you need to to reflect your schedule and workflow.
Save Task
When you are done with the work you were doing, you can either Save Progress to end the timer without Completing the Task or press Complete Task
By default, this creates a Placeholder Task. This Placeholder task can have a different names such as Chart Review or Assessment Results Review. The task will remain a Placeholder Task unless it is converted to a Specified Task. This Placeholder task can be converted into a new Specified Task by applying a task template or adding custom details. It can also be merged into another active Specified Task by merging with another existing task. Please note that a Placeholder Task cannot merge into an existing Placeholder Task.
Once Save Progress or Complete Task are selected, there is a pop-up to take action on saving the task. On the top bar, you can turned the Placeholder Task into a Specified Task by merging with an existing task, applying a task template, or adding custom details.
You can also adjust the Start Time, Duration (which changes the End Time), and Notes.
*Note - if you update without converting the task into a Specified Task, it is will remain a Placeholder Task.
